The calculation of the finish quality grade
The distance between the undulations corresponds to the distance between the entry and exit of the individual teeth. This distance is called the grade of finish quality.
It is calculated using the number of teeth (Z),rpm (N) of the tool and the feed rate of the material (A). The result can be checked in the table below.
